Forensic Behavioral Health Clinician

Samson Fa’alepo, MA is a behavioral health clinician focused on improving outcomes for justice-impacted individuals through evidence-based, trauma-informed care. His work integrates clinical expertise with a deep commitment to reducing recidivism and advancing long-term stability for individuals navigating reentry. As a Forensic Behavioral Health Clinician and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Samson specializes in clinical assessment, individualized treatment planning, and intensive case management for individuals with co-occurring mental health and behavioral challenges. He works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care that addresses both immediate stabilization and long-term functional outcomes. Samson’s professional experience spans community-based and clinical settings, where he has supported high-need populations with complex behavioral health profiles. His approach is grounded in culturally responsive care and evidence-based practices, with a focus on addressing the root causes of instability and supporting sustainable reintegration into the community. Residential Program Manager

Lavale is a respected community leader, violence interventionist, and healing-centered mentor whose work powerfully reflects Upload Foundation’s mission to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity for individuals impacted by incarceration, trauma, substance use, and community violence. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Lavale brings unmatched lived experience, wisdom, and authenticity to every space he enters. He has served as a Substance Use Disorder Navigator with Options Recovery Services, a Peer Support Mentor with La Familia, and a Credible Messenger with BOSS. He has also led healing circles for victims of crime through the Trauma Recovery Center and facilitated anger management and restorative healing groups for formerly incarcerated men — helping others transform pain into purpose and accountability into growth. After being tried as an adult at age 17 and serving 23.5 years incarcerated, Lavale emerged not defeated, but transformed — turning one of the darkest chapters imaginable into a life devoted to healing, leadership, and service to others. Today, he is a pillar in the community, a trusted mentor, and a powerful example of redemption in action. His voice carries wisdom earned through survival, reflection, and perseverance, and his presence inspires people to believe that transformation is possible no matter where someone begins. Through his leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to giving back, Lavale continues to uplift his community and create pathways for others to rise, heal, and reclaim their future.

Diana McBride serves as Financial Director of Upload Foundation, bringing expertise in accounting, financial management, and organizational operations to support the Foundation’s mission and long-term growth. She holds a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting.<br/>As Financial Director, Diana plays an important role in strengthening Upload Foundation’s financial infrastructure and promoting responsible stewardship, transparency, accountability, and sustainability. She helps ensure the organization’s financial practices support both its current programs and its vision for continued expansion.<br/>Her responsibilities include financial management and oversight, budget development and monitoring, grant and funding accountability, financial compliance and audit readiness, and the development of effective accounting systems and procedures. Diana also supports accurate financial reporting and the responsible management of organizational resources as Upload Foundation grows its programs and funding partnerships.<br/>Diana is continuing her professional development as she begins her journey toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Her commitment to professional excellence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities contribute to Upload Foundation’s commitment to maintaining sound financial practices.<br/>Through her leadership, Diana helps Upload Foundation build the financial foundation necessary to responsibly expand its impact and advance its mission of supporting individuals and communities affected by incarceration, reentry, and barriers to long-term stability and wellness.

Capoeira & Digital Skills Instructor

Moran is a Full-Stack Web Developer with over 10 years of experience building and maintaining web applications. After studying computer programming at Berkeley City College, he launched a successful career with organizations including Tierra Interactive, Cost Plus World Market, and Equinix. His expertise are in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, PHP and many more. Beyond technology, Moran is dedicated to personal growth through martial arts. He trained in Capoeira for more than 15 years and currently practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The discipline, resilience, and problem-solving mindset he has developed through these pursuits are reflected in his professional approach, bringing focus, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in every project he undertakes.

Administrative Manager

Arthur oversees the Foundation's administrative operations and supports the leadership team in advancing Upload Foundation's mission. He manages organizational systems, coordinates internal operations, streamlines workflows, and helps ensure that day-to-day activities align with the Foundation's strategic goals. He provides operational support across program administration, board coordination, partnerships, communications, and organizational development. He is committed to building efficient systems that strengthen the Foundation's capacity to empower formerly incarcerated individuals through housing, education, workforce development, and wellness services. Arthur brings over 18 years of experience in administrative management, operations, marketing, and executive support across nonprofit and private-sector organizations. He holds a degree in Commerce with a major in Business Management and is passionate about creating organized, mission-driven environments that enable teams to make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.
